Vasili's Garden on Channel 31 has conducted a television program and recording of real skills delivered by Australian College of Agriculture and Horticulture, at their practical training venue for student enrolled in the Skills for Victoria funded program at Certificate II in Production Horticulture
There are a total of 19 candidates par taking in this program, and Channel 31 Television Garden Show, this Wednesday 22 June 2011 at 7:30pm AEST will be highlighting the partnership between HSA and its counterparts Parks Victoria, and respective employment agencies, in promoting Horticultural qualifications and pathway for employment for the long term unemployed.
By starting the vegie patch project, this has enable Sofia Kotanidis (CCA), Adam Smith (Parks Vic) and Ram Gopal of ACAH, to highlight the program to the rest of Australia as a unique pathway being provided to people seeking entry into Horticultural Skills.
The community garden is a start and will potentially make a difference in the wyndham region, and make the community think of creating their own backyard gardens, this is also a contract service provided by ACAH and its graduates.
